My Asus Transformer Prime got another update, and I have to be honest, this tablet just keeps getting better. Not only can the Prime be used as a consumption device, but it’s great for producing as well. The .25 firmware update adds some great stuff, and now my Prime is super stable. Check out the thread on XDA about the Prime problems. We are currently at 142 pages at the time of writing this. Here is some more information on what comes with the new Prime update.

Kyle explains to us why tablets make no sense to him. This is a pretty interesting conversation.

Hey Verizon, why did all the other Galaxy Nexi get the Android 4.04 update, but we did not? Any chance you can fix that? Oh and while you’re at it, would it be to much trouble to ask you to fix the whole 3G wifi connection problem? I’m very annoyed at having to reboot my Galaxy Nexus just to get it to reconnect to 3G when I turn off Wifi. Thanks!

If you do any kind of mobile photography, you should check out Ant’s post about mobile photography vs SLR. I have some photographs there I shot and edited on my Galaxy Nexus.

Do you guys remember Blue Stacks? Man, I still think this is such a great idea, especially now they have it working much better than when we last talked about it. It’s now wide open for beta testing, so if you’re into that sort of thing, check it out!

Drinks at the ready, who’s ready to talk about Republic Wireless? That’s right, they are re-opening their beta. Check out the Republic Wireless blog for more information.

Let’s talk about why getting charged for tethering is a scam.

Let me tell you what I think about Michael Bay and his vision of Transformers. In other news, the Transformer Prime does not infringe on Hasbro’s trademark.

What do you know about Wifi Direct? I know my Transformer Prime supports it now with the new firmware update. I know my Galaxy Nexus also supports it. Now, what can be done with it? Let’s ask Reddit.

Please stop using the notification bar for ads. That’s not where ads should go. Ever. T-Mobile had to learn this the hard way.
